LAS CRUCES – Doña Ana County reported no locations on the New Mexico Environment Department’s COVID-19 rapid response watchlist May 25, after seven months of at least one county location the list.
Doña Ana County businesses or entitles such as schools or medical facilities have appeared on the watchlist since it was introduced Oct. 20, 2020. A location was added to the list if at least two COVID-19 rapid responses were reported within a two-week period. Locations were required by the state to close for two weeks if they had four or more rapid responses unless they were deemed essential.
