How does someone know the vaccine worked?
Dr. Joseph Kontra, with Lancaster General Hospital, gave this answer: “Good question. I have actually gotten that question a fair amount for people that have minimal or no reaction to the shots. Everyone is expecting aches and pains and fevers and headaches. Some people don t get that. That doesn t mean that the immunization didn t work. Everybody s body has a different threshold for producing symptoms. We know from the phase three trials and many, many doses of immunizations having been administered that the vaccine works. So, if you got the shot, it worked.”
