Supervisor haney and they shaped this into something that was truly connected to the actual needs within the system and on the ground, and so were confident that it can be successful, but were also very sure that theres a lot of work left to do. Its not fully funded yet. We have a commitment from the mayor, but we need at least 100 million a year, including startup costs, to be able to implement this. Its going to take a lot of work from the implementation committee, oversight and working together, potentially needed additional revenue from the public. So i know that the public is excited about this i hope they are, but theyre asking, well actually be excited the most about this when we see it bringing a change in our communities, and so thats going to be the next steps once it passes today. Bill would say we need to ask buck. I would see buck in the morning sometimes in the cafe knowing he had already swam. I also swim the bay but never got to swim with buck. I am certain i would not have been able to keep up with him. I would like to extend my condolences to the City Attorneys Office and his family. He was the kind of person when you saw him, he made you want to be better at everything. He made me want to be a better athlete, better at my job and just a basic human decent human being.
