The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has approved a new bill on mobilization and sent it to the parliament, MP Oleksiy Honcharenko announced on Jan. 30.
The Verkhovna Rada refused to consider a resolution to dismiss MP Mariana Bezuhla from her post on the Committee on National Security, Defense, and Intelligence at a meeting on Jan. 16, MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak reported.
Ukrainian forces allegedly shot down a Russian A-50 military aircraft over the Azov Sea, RBC Ukraine reported on Jan. 14, citing an unnamed source in the Ukrainian military. An additional Russian military plane, the Il-22M, was also allegedly damaged.
