trump s private club and residents. the national archives referred the matter to the justice department, who were planning an investigation into the matter. now that investigation appears to be underway. according to the new york times, justice department prosecutors have already issued at least one subpoena to the national archives, and have begun making requests pay too interview people who have worked in the trump white house during the final days of his presidency. the times also reports quote, the investigation is focused on how the documents made their way to the residents, who boxed them up, whether anyone knew that classified materials were being improperly taken out of the white house and how they were ultimately stored in mar-a-lago, according to a person with knowledge of the matter, and quote. the news of this investigation comes as congress s own investigation into the final days of the trump presidency is also wrapping up. as i mentioned before, january 6th investigators
