The Ad Hoc Committee to Nominate a Person for Appointment as Public Protector (PP) met today to discuss its draft programme as well as the contents of the advert calling for nominations for the next PP. Committee Chairperson Mr Cyril Xaba indicated that the committee has until the end of August to complete its tasks. Today, the committee also received a briefing on the process to be followed in conducting its work. According to the draft programme, the committee intends to publish an advert .
