Court Orders Nigerian Inspector-General Of Police To Arrest, Remand EFCC Chairman, Bawa In Prison Over Contempt

Justice R.O. Ayoola of the Kogi State High Court has ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Usman Baba, to arrest and remand the Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Abdulrasheed Bawa, in prison over alleged disobedience to court order. Justice Ayoola gave the order on Monday directing the IGP to remand Bawa in Kuje prison for the next 14 days until he purged himself of the contempt.
