Reappointment of 3 Commissioners to the Judicial Appointments Commission Her Majesty the Queen, on the advice of the Lord Chancellor, has approved the reappointment of 3 Commissioners to the Judicial Appointments Commission. From: 7 May 2021 The following have been reappointed as Commissioners of the Judicial Appointments Commission (JAC) for a term of 3 years. Those reappointed are: Sarah Lee, (professional solicitor Commissioner) Her Honour Judge Anuja Dhir QC (circuit judge Commissioner) Brie Stevens-Hoare QC and Sarah Lee commenced their new terms on 9 April 2021. HHJ Anuja Dhir QC will commence her new term on 9 June 2021. JAC is an independent body that selects candidates for judicial office in courts and tribunals in England and Wales, and for some tribunals with UK-wide jurisdiction. Candidates are selected on merit, through fair and open competition.
