Former Allen County Sheriff’s Office Chief Deputy Brian Winegardner is sworn in as an Allen County commissioner as his family watches Monday at the Allen County courthouse.

LIMA Former Chief Deputy Brian Winegardner was officially sworn in as an Allen County commissioner a position he had been appointed to earlier this month during a brief ceremony held Monday afternoon.
“I solemnly swear that I will support the Constitution of the United States, the Constitution of the State of Ohio and will faithfully and impartially discharge and perform all the duties incumbent upon as such commissioner according to the best of my abilities,” Winegardner said with his right hand on a Bible.
