Hyderabad: Police to book cases against mask rule violators

Hyderabad: Amid sharp surge in COVID-19 cases in GHMC limits, the Hyderabad police have decided to book cases against those persons violating mask rule at public places. Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar on Thursday warned the public against violating the mask rule.
Citing a recent judgement of Delhi High Court, Anjani Kumar said that a person travelling in a vehicle or car even if he is alone has to wear the mask since he is susceptible to virus attack one he downs the window shield at a traffic signal or to purchase from road side vendor.

8 arrested in old city for cheating shopkeepers using fake paytm app

Hyderabad: The south zone police on Wednesday busted a team of 8 cheaters who were allegedly involved in cheating businessman in old city by using fake “Paytm” app.
Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar today said that the accused downloaded an app called “payatm spoof” from google play stores.
They enter a store, shop for some items and ask for a bill, they use to insist the shop owner for paying the bill through Paytm mode.
They use to show that the amount is paid viapayatm spoof, which is actually a fake payment, done through the fake app and decamp with the purchased goods. The cashier later learns that the payment is not done and that he was cheated.

Hyderabad: The sleuths of Kachiguda Police Station Hyderabad City on Saturday nabbed an offender and seized intact the stolen property worth of Rs. 35, 00,000/- from his possession within 12 hours of offence.
Police Commissioner Hyderabad Anjani Kumar informed that Nanda Kusaraju aka Raju @ Nanda Gopal, a male caregiver, is native of Ramanayyapeta, East Godavari District in Andhra Pradesh.
He worked as daily wage laborer for 2 years at Hyderabad. After that with a view to conceal his real identity he got changed his name as Nanda Gopal in an Aadhar card. In the month of February 2018 by seeing “paper add” he joined as a male care taker at plot No. 205, Gokuldham Apartment, Barkatpura, Kachiguda, Hyderabad by submitting his fake Aadhar card as Nanda Gopal by suppressing his original identity and also vehicle number.
