The Galt Commission on Aging made plans to participate in two upcoming events at its Jan. 27 regular meeting and discussed the results of a Christmas Eve donation of blankets
I hope this finds you all in good health. I am happy to announce that the Galt Senior Resource Center (GSRC) is slated to open to the public on Tuesday, July 6. Our regular hours of operation are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and on Thursday, 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The center will be closed on holidays.
The Commission on Aging is looking for more volunteers to staff the Galt Senior Resource Center, located at the Chabolla Community Center, 600 Chabolla Avenue. These would be people who are willing to provide information over the phone, are able to operate a computer, and answer questions from seniors who may stop by or call in.
