Savit took the opportunity to talk about mental health, COVID-19 and racial disparities.
Commission Gail Wolkoff, who works with Ypsilanti youth, questioned what kind of message Savit has for students in the community.
Savit said he is worried about the mental health of younger people following the pandemic.
