Again, FAAN bars VIP orderlies from terminals
After six months of waiting for regulator’s approval, the brand new aircraft acquired by Air Peace airline have begun commercial flight services.
The first of the three Embraer E195-E2 aircraft has been deployed into domestic operations following its inauguration in Lagos. In a related development, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has again barred orderlies of notable personalities from departure terminals, in compliance with COVID-19 safety protocols.
Spokesperson of the airline, Stanley Olisa, confirmed the development, describing the deployment of the youngest fleet as a feat for Air Peace and its customers.

Air Peace yesterday received the first Embraer E195-E2 aircraft out of the 13 firm orders from the Brazilian manufacturer.
The airplane arrived the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, from Recife airport, Brazil.
This is coming as the Minister of Aviation Senator Hadi Sirika has reiterated federal government’s commitment to resuscitate and ensure functional airstrips all over the country, to combat insecurity and boost commercial activities.
Air Peace is the first African carrier to take delivery of this brand new aircraft type with 30 requests, which include 13 firm orders and 17 purchase right orders, coming second to Lufthansa globally, which ordered 35.
