A regional bakery with a sweet history is celebrating a major milestone this year.
Stauffer’s, the York County baker of the Original Animal Cracker as well as popular snacks including ginger snaps, chocolate stars and baked cheddar crackers, is marking its 150th anniversary.
For the occasion the company early this summer is releasing a limited-edition Commemorative Bear Jug filled with original or chocolate animal crackers. The collectible jugs feature nostalgic labels that pay homage to packaging from the 1800s.
