good afternoon, everybody. i m martha maccallum. this is the story this afternoon. a somber scene as president biden and the first lady receive the dignified transfer of three american soldiers coming home. they were killed in the drone attack in jordan at a place that is known as tower 22. there members of our armed forces supply and reinforced the protection of civilians in syria and iraq and during that attack more than 40 other service members were injured by an iranian-made drone. so the president also met with the families of these three fallen soldiers today at doer air force base in delaware. they are 46-year-old sergeant william rivers, 23-year-old specialist breonna moffett and 24-year-old specialist kennedy sanders. moffett and sanders were promoted to sergeant post posth posthumously. the president has said he has decided how to retaliate for the death of these three americans. so far we have not seen that response. dana perino is with me here in new york with a
