KUALA LUMPUR: A husband-and-wife team has been arrested by the police for distributing cannabis and heroin.
City police chief Comm Azmi Abu Kassim, in a statement Saturday (April 24), said that a man in his thirties was arrested in Segambut on April 22. He was suspected of being involved in drug distribution activities within the Klang Valley and Selangor. Checks on a nearby parked car that the suspect pointed out led to the discovery of 2,540g of cannabis, as well as RM200 in cash, which we believe was money from sales made. Following his arrest, he brought the police to a house in Bandar Sri Damansara. There the police located 25,610g of cannabis and 406.27g of heroin. His wife, who was at the house, was also arrested, he said.
