JOHOR BARU: Johor police have reminded employers and business owners to provide a working environment that complies with the standard operating procedure of the stricter movement control order or face action including, having their operations shut down.Johor police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay also reminded them to always ensure that their workers follow the SOP at all times while at the workplace.
He said the stern reminder was needed after a joint operation by various agencies at two factories in Pasir Gudang yesterday found several offences related to the SOP.

JOHOR BARU: Johor police have discovered that the names of the 12 enforcement officers arrested for alleged involvement with the “Nicky Gang” have been leaked via WhatsApp.
State police chief Comm Datuk Ayob Khan Mydin Pitchay said they were tracing the individual involved in sharing and forwarding the list via the messaging app.
“This irresponsible action is an offence under Section 203A(1) of the Penal Code for disclosing sensitive information, which carries a fine of not more than RM1mil, or imprisonment not more than a year, or both upon conviction, ” he said in a statement Tuesday (April 27).
He added that members of the public were urged not to spread the information to avoid legal action being taken against them.

Taking part in the Johor Media Club’s (KMJ) Singgah Sahur programme held over the weekend, he impressed journalists present with his skill at the state police contingent headquarters here.
Equally vowed were Mentri Besar Datuk Hasni Mohammad and Education, Information, Heritage and Culture Committee chairman Mazlan Bujang, who were among those present.
