this is first time republicans as one party is controlling all houses and the white house. so there is a slight difference. you see in the polling that republicans would be slightly more sglablamed and there has ba question of whether they can properly govern. all that being said, no one wants a shutdown. shooper doesn t want it. mcconnell doesn t want it. they are trying to leverage to see what they can get out of it. schumer is trying to offer a short term. even less in exchange for some - sort of deal that schumer says everybody will have to go along with. lifting the cams on military spending which republicans want. coming one a daca deal. there doesn t seem to be an appetite for that. i think the more likely thing is that there is the cleaner c.r. that doesn t have daca as part of it and the negotiations still exist for daca. there s a deadline coming up in march. and frankly, some of the polling

will probably have three or four candidates remaining. you ll have donald trump, ted cruz, marco rubio, jeb bush, simply because he has money, and one other candidate. i don t see kasich or christie making it past new hampshire, and after carly fiorina s tweet yesterday and the utter defeat of the iowa hawkeyes, i don t expect her to make it out of iowa, either. do you want a last word on that, tara? i think that s fair. i think that now that we are in the home stretch to finally start voting, you re going to see that s what makes a difference. momentum matters. so when you have the big three in the beginning, iowa, new hampshire, south carolina, who places where and how far behind makes a difference when you go into that s.e.c. super tuesday that s coming up in march. so i think that s when people start to see who s winning and who s losing, literally, not just internet polls and hopefully the field will winnow down. we cannot continue to have this many candidates. it does not s
