self-answering one. and, you know, so from my point of view, it s kind of interesting that people have really focused on jim s comment about moral unfitness. this comment is so obviously correct that it s interesting that we re talking about it as news. you know, jim says the president is morally unfit. that s obviously right. you talk about credibility, you talk about people assessing these two men as you sort of frame it up. why did james comey, in your view, why did he get to personal? why did he bring up hand size ant tanning goggles and some of the other things that he talked about that some critics of comey say that s not higher ground, that s not jim comey taking the higher ground. why did he go there? okay. so first of all, i ve read the whole book. yeah. these are two lines in a
in the book, does not help his credibility. to the extent his credibility is going to matter in a potential obstruction of justice investigation, the fact that he is petty will allow, you know, an objective observer to question some of the other thinthing s that he is saying as it relates to the investigation. ron, when you hear comey say, i can t for certain say the president of the united states is not compromised by the russians, this is an interesting thing to hear. the one thing in the book i wanted to hear from jim comey is what he actually knows as the former director of the fbi. not what he thinks. your response can be whatever you want it to be. what do you think, ron? yeah. look, jim comey has the right to an opinion. here, you know, his involvement with the case was early on. it s what the fbi knew. certainly early on in a case, you re not in a position to rule certain things out.
