Wichita area COVID testing options
If you’re in the Wichita area and need a COVID test, you’ve got plenty of options this week.
Sedgwick County’s walk-in site is still running at the 4-H building, at 21st and ridge. Free tests are available without an appointment, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon.
Wichita State is offering free tests to the public at the Hughes Metroplex, at 29th and Oliver. You can drive up any weekday, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and get a test without ever leaving your car. Sings are posted in the parking lot with instructions on what to do once you get there.

COVID testing options this week
If you need to get tested for COVID-19 you have a few options this week.
Sedgwick County’s mobile testing lab is running three days this week, on the following schedule:
Monday, December 14 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 5356 N. Hillside, Wichita
Tuesday, December 15 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Haysville Community Center, 130 E 2
nd St., Haysville
Thursday, December 17 from 8:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Colwich Fire Department, 116 N. Third, Colwich
The mobile sites offer free tests with no appointment needed, regardless of symptoms.
Testing at the drive-thru site at Central and Edgemoor is still available, but appointments are required. Use the following schedule and procedures if you would like to use the drive-thru site:
