Columbus Yachts have announced the sale of the first 43-metre hull from their Atlantique series of yachts. The range was launched only two months ago and features interior and exterior design by Hot Lab. The design philosophy behind this line of yachts is “architecture for voyagers”, featuring a blend of stylistic elements alongside functional components for being at sea.  Atlantique range has been fully customised to the owners requirements to be suitable for his family, characterised by large outdoor areas, a swimming pool aft with C-shaped seating nearby, and a swim platform just 50cm above the water line. In addition, she has two folding side wings to enhance the feeling of being in contact with the natural environment. This feature also extends the deck space at the aft to create a large beach deck which includes a lounge area. Up a short flight of steps, are two further seating areas with al fresco dining space for up-to 12 guests.
