TC Energy to move to downtown Charleston

TC Energy announced it will move its office to the former CASCI building site in downtown Charleston, West Virginia. The company said the existing 110,000-square-foot building will be replaced with a new building and is expected to be complete in 2025. The company said it expects to move into the new building by 2026. Remington Development Corp., a Canadian company, will develop the property into a four-story, 120,000-square-foot building. The building also includes an 18,000-square-foot annex with a loading dock and a 1,500-square-foot rooftop patio. TC Energy is currently located in the historic Columbia Gas building on MacCorkle Avenue in Kanawha City.

All about the money? Not for volunteers | News, Sports, Jobs

We’ve been through another flood. My heart goes out to people impacted. Cleaning up after one of these events is daunting. Having a house full of mud and water is unimaginable. In the middle of this tragedy we see some of the best in Americans, people stepping up to help their neighbors and total strangers in their time of need. Some risked their own lives in water rescues. Others helped with the cleanup or stepped up with hot meals and donations. Americans volunteered their time, talent and money to help those in need. After the 2016 floods our high school soccer team volunteered as part of the cleanup, distribution of food and cleaning supplies to those impacted. People drove hundreds of miles to help. They showed up at the distribution center and reported to the State Policewoman in charge with the question, “Where can we help?” She put them to work. Trucks showed up from out of state full of much-needed donated supplies.
