Appeal for witnesses following serious road crash in Wishaw on Boxing Day
A 19-year-old was driving a Vauxhall Astra on Coltness Road when he lost control of the vehicle and struck a garden wall.
Cops are now probing the incident and are appealing for witnesses

Scots teen rushed to hospital with serious head injury after car ploughs into wall in Wishaw crash
Three teenagers were taken to hospital after the Vauxhall Astra struck a garden wall on Coltness Road, near North Dryburgh Road, shortly after 9pm on Saturday.

He remains in hospital in stable condition and the teenager was discharged. Police are appealing for witnesses to the crash to contact 101, quoting reference 3232 of December 26. Sergeant Scott Sutherland from the Road Policing Unit at Motherwell said: “Our investigation into the cause of this crash is ongoing and I would appeal to any witnesses to the crash, or anyone with information that may assist our enquiry to come forward. “I would also ask anyone who was driving on Coltness Road around the time of the crash who has dash-cam footage to contact us, as they may hold information that will help our investigation.”
