Sri Lanka Youth Volleyball Player, and Coloursman Gihan Anjula brought honour and glory to his Alma Mater Vijayaba Vidyalaya Hungama, Hambantota District and Sakura Sports Club Hungama
Gihan commenced his school career from Ranna Maha Vidyalaya and he was admitted to this school in 2011 and the then Principal was Mr. Jinadasa and first class teacher was Mrs. Rohini. He commenced playing volleyball at his village volleyball club Sakura Sports Club from a tender age and he impressed in Volleyball and his parents Janak Kumara and Chamila Krishanthi decided to admit their son to Vijayaba Vidyalaya Hungama in 2011 when Gihan was at Ranna Vidyalaya where he did not participate in any sport
