Tribal radio station seeks a collaborative approach to reporting the news

There was once only one way for members of the Southern Ute Indian Tribe to communicate news with members in isolated areas who spoke only the Ute language: Two of its members would travel to the KDGO.

KSUT participates in Advanced Equity in Local News convening hosted by the Colorado Media Project

KSUT executive director Tami Graham and news reporter Clark Adomaitis attended the gathering designed to elevate what's being done to advance equity in local news, share ideas and concerns, and to draw on new ideas for moving forward. Every session included a diverse mix of perspective and voices, including local journalists, national experts, community members and funders.
