Colorado Energy Organizations Launch Pilot to ‘Responsibly’ Produce Natural Gas A Colorado natural gas producer, an infrastructure operator and a Colorado Springs municipal utility have launched the Project Canary responsibly sourced natural gas pilot to ensure natural gas production follows emissions standards. Colorado Springs Utilities has agreed to purchase responsibly sourced gas (RSG) produced by Bayswater Exploration & Production, a Colorado-based oil and natural gas development company. Kinder Morgan Inc. subsidiary Colorado Interstate Gas Co. will transport the RSG gathered and processed by Denver-Julesburg (DJ) Basin midstream services provider Rimrock Energy Partners, after it has been produced by Bayswater Exploration & Production.
