camera film has officially hit the end of the road. dwayne s photo in parson s, kansas, the last lab in the world developing the process for the once-dominant kodak film, developed its last roll on thursday. our affiliate ksnf has the story. it s one of those days that you only see once in a lifetime. reporter: kodachrome is known as the first successful color film, but it s much more than that to the stylings, it s made them known across the globe. we re tremendously excited. today is the last day that we re accepting film for kodachrome processing and we ve been inundated. reporter: photographers flocked to dwayne s photo, hundreds have sent in film to be developed before the machine is turned off forever. we re honored that kodak has had enough faith to trust us with the processing of this product. reporter: nearly 350 u.p.s.
