A woman accused of stabbing her former lover to death after a day of heavy drinking in Wicklow had no intent to kill and no animus towards the deceased, her defence barrister has told a jury at the Central Criminal Court.
The only eye witness to come to court in the trial of a woman accused of stabbing her Wicklow housemate to death during a "drunken" and "chaotic" event is unclear in her recollection and cannot be relied upon, a barrister has told the Central Criminal Court.
