5 . 27 . 21 On May 10, the Irish government lifted its ban on public worship. Attendance is now limited to 50 people, regardless of the size of the church building, and irrespective of vaccination levels.  Something bizarre has been happening in Ireland. On the one hand, the ban on public religious observance throughout the pandemic has seemed draconian.
