Oak Harbor has the highest team batting average in the Sandusky Bay Conference Bay Division at .313 (145 for 463), but at 7-10 overall and 3-3 in the conference, they aren’t exactly on track to win a championship. That does not mean they are out of it far from it. Like other local prep baseball conferences, if they can keep their losses to three, they could remain in the hunt. Coach Nick Lance expected his team to be there, but right now Edison appears to be the team to beat at 5-1 in the league, but the Chargers are 9-6 overall.
