Emil Lippe/Getty Images(LONDON) Two men were arrested in England on Wednesday morning as part of an ongoing investigation into a hostage-taking incident at a synagogue in the United States, British authorities said. Counterterrorism officers detained both men in Manchester. The pair "remain in custody for questioning," according to a statement from the Greater Manchester Police. Two other men were arrested in connection with the probe in Manchester and Birmingham, about 85 miles south of Manchester, on Jan. 20. They "remain in custody and officers have been granted an extension of custody to continue to question them further," the Greater Manchester Police said.
