Photo: WHCU ITHACA, N.Y. (WHCU) The Tompkins County Health Department is canceling Thursday’s planned vaccination day for college students. As federal officials review the Johnson and Johnson vaccine, there’s a nationwide pause in place on its distribution – including in New York State. The one-shot vaccine was going to be used for Thursday’s “College Student Vaccination Day,” which had been slated for students at TC3, Ithaca College, and Cornell. The Pfizer and Moderna vaccines are unaffected by the temporary Johnson and Johnson stoppage, and will continue being offered at vaccine clinics in Tompkins County. Tags: Recent Headlines
