Merrill’s Wardall Earns Academic All-America Honors for UW-Whitewater Volleyball, makes Dean’s List, graduates Summa Cum Laude Morgan Wardall, a native of Merrill and graduate of Merrill High School, was a Senior on the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Volleyball Team and was named Third Team Academic All-America by the College Sports Information Directors of America for the 2021 season. Bria Beale, a recent communication graduate, has been selected as the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo nominee for the 2021
NCAA Woman of the Year. Each school in all three
NCAA divisions can select one nominee. The
NCAA Woman of the Year honors the academic achievements, athletics excellence, community service and leadership of outstanding female college athletes.
Beale’s nomination moves on to the Pacific West Conference selection committee, where one female from the conference’s 11 universities will advance to the national ballot. That winner will be announced in August.
