The administration in Maharashtra's Pune city has postponed the reopening of colleges, training institutes and coaching classes by a day, an official said on Saturday.
Wearing a mask and keeping individual hand sanitizer is compulsory for the students.
Only 50% of the students will be allowed to attend the classes at a time.
The college authority must make sure to keep hand sanitizers in each classroom.
The colleges should also maintain the alternate seating arrangement.
Physical or social distancing inside the campus is mandatory.
The government has asked the colleges to ensure that students must wear face masks at all times and maintain social distance inside the campus. The random medical test will be conducted for students and faculties to ensure no one is Covid asymptotic.
With COVID-19 infection rates trending down in the region and surrounding areas, East Tennessee State University announced in a pair of emails to students Wednesday its plans to host an in-person graduation ceremony this May, and âa majority of instruction occurring in-personâ in the fall.
âAs we progress through the spring semester, it is appropriate for us to turn our attention to the 2021-22 academic year,â read the memo, which was signed by University President Brian Noland. âGiven the promise of multiple vaccines and the opportunity to realize widespread vaccinations across our region this summer, ETSU has begun planning for an increased on-ground campus presence for fall 2021 with the majority of academic instruction occurring in-person.â
