Prof. Moon Moon Haque (Gulf Medical University) discussed the ways and means of selecting a suitable journal for a research study at a recently conducted session in the Writing Impactful Research (WIR) Programme. WIR is a four month Programme conducted by the Faculty of Management Studies, Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka in collaboration with the Emerald Publishing and Gulf Medical University, UAE. This is a highly successful research programme with the participation of more than 1000 academics, researchers and postgraduate students from the different continents across the globe. Gulf Medical University (GMU), Ajman, has six colleges, offering 26 accredited programmes for students of more than 86 nationalities.
The undergraduate programmes offered by GMU include medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, biomedical sciences, healthcare management and economics, anaesthesia technology, medical laboratory sciences, physiotherapy, medical imaging sciences and associate degree in preclinical sciences.
