Need an academic refresher? Anyone entering or returning to college can get free English and math refresher courses at South College this summer.
The private, professional-focused college in Knoxville is offering a new program that will run from Aug. 3 through 19 to help recent high school graduates whose learning may have been disrupted by COVID-19 plus students who are going back to college to change career paths.
The courses will be held from 9 to 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Each block will be split evenly between English and math, according to a news release. The courses will be taught by full-time instructors who teach and work in tutoring labs.
