He pulled out a gun and that that is when the suspect apparently shot the victim in the leg and then fled. The victim in this case, was shot in the leg. A car crashes into a crowd of people at the south by southwest festival, killing at least two people. And campus crackdowns in oakland after two children are sexually assaulted at school. Breaking news police in austin have arrested the suspect drunk driver that ran through temporary barricades into a crowd at the south by southwest festival earlier this morning. So far, two people have been killed in the incident and 23 others were injured. The Austin Police chief says were on a moped that the driver hit along with pedestrians who were leaving a club where a concert had been held. The man also struck a cab before jumping out of his car and trying to run from police. Officers shocked him with a stun gun and took him into custody. One witness described the chaotic situation. Several students were reportedly sickened at Hayward High School after buying brownies, possibly tainted with marijuana. Ktvus janine de la vega just spoke to officials and joins us live. Reporter Hayward Unified School district says it appears that five students are involved in this incident. Police are helping with the investigation. Its still being determined what substance was in the brownies. But it appears it was pot. Lets go to a photograph the student provided of paramedics arriving to Hayward High School yesterday morning after a student noticed one of her students was getting sick. A second student became ill and complained of stomach cramps. One girl was examined by emergency crews and released to her parents. The other was taken to the hospital. About 3 00 a. M. This morning there were some type of altercation and the suspect in this case, pulled a gun and tried to shoot. The victim in this case question him and that is when he was shot in the leg. He was transported to the hospital and apparently, the suspect fled on foot. The Police Department believes that he is held up. Since then, multiple units have arrived and they have geared up, this printer keeps increasing. The media has been pulled back from the scene that it is unclear who this person is and why they believe this suspect is inside of this rv. This is a developing story.
