Legacy high school are still in the hospital after sundays crash at dia. All the students involved have been treated and sent home. But wayne voorhees, matt kroupa and kyle rider have significant injuries. The team had just returneded from a game in california. Three buses were leaving the airport. When this one crashed into a pillar. The bus driver kari chopper was killed. In broomfield its homecoming week at legacy high but what was supposed to be a spirited week turned somber for students and staff. Students went to class on monday one day after tragedy hit Legacy High School. Sunday afternoon, the word spread quickly among the students that a school bus with Football Players and coaches crashed at Denver International airport killing the driver and seriously injuring three coaches. picture made all a major milestone today in the battle against the heroin epidemic. a Graduation Ceremony at the Cuyahoga County drug court has more than two dozen seeing the possible. Monica Robbins joins us live from the Justice Center with more. good evening. reporter good evening ross. the court has been active since 2009. and today it celebrated its 300th graduate. 300 of them took control of their now sober lives. the majority of these dependent. the goal of the program is to break the cycle of recidivism g drug dependency, putting them through treatment and holding them accountable. only those assessed as drug dependent are allowed into the program and this year included the safe first graduates of course. those who not only suffer from addiction but also Mental Health issues relating to and while this is certainly a the fight, there is still a lot of work left to be done. we are on pace for one of the highest overdose death rates in years because of the rise in fentanyl cases.
As i got for is the end of the book, there is one story that had to be rich and i didnt want to write about it. I didnt feel a need to write about it. I felt very selfconscious writing about it, but it was about 9 11. If i did not write about it, there wouldve been a big hole in the book. When i started writing about it, it was like the first couple of days i dont remember much. It is all kind of a blur to me. Even when i hook up with guys with me at the time, they say the same thing like they remember something very vividly. I have no recollection. I remember something very vividly they cant remember. So for all of us, the first couple of days with kind of a blur. After that, and i was working 12 hours on, 12 hours off for the next two months. My unit was in the detective bureau, so we got assigned and our job was to remain in. I could write about what i saw and what we did. Those are peoples families, family members and i couldnt write about it. But i think i wrote about my feelings
