we talked about that before. second, the reinstitution of all these regulations, it s just a job killer. every dollar they spend on regulations is a dollar they re not going to spend to create a job. you ve got to do that. third, i really want to spend more in this country on vocational education. you know, for you and i have our college age graduates, that cake is already baked and hopefully the combination of bringing inflation back under control, which will bring interest rates down and allow businesses to reinvest in expanding and growing. we also have to look at folks a few years earlier who maybe college isn t the right thing for them. we have a lot of jobs out there. we have 1.7 empty jobs for every one person who s unemployed. but we don t have the skill those people are not skilled in the jobs we need. i really got to believe there s got to be emphasis on vocational in this country. the aspiration of college is
it s been a man-covery, also, and they speculate about the theory, as men s jobs have improved, the situation and more men gone back to work and their salary may have increased a little bit. women who were working have been able to scale it back. if you have a working husband you don t need to necessarily stay in the work force. dave: are they leaving voluntarily. hundreds of thousands of women leaving the work force, the question, are they doing it voluntarily or no jobs for women today. also, young people suffering in this recovery, the numbers are daunting, if you re young and looking for a job. unemployment for 20 to 24 year olds, up 4.4% from 2008. 43% of college age graduates moving back home, this according to the manhattan institute. it s free, free to live in
if what dick is saying, julie, is that the future means that fewer college age graduates get to go to a gainful employment job situation on a day-to-day basis, if what dick means is that by the future, president obama will defund some of the most important issues related to millenial, they re causal minds, concerned about sex trafficking, he defunded all efforts to fight that battle. if they re talking about the future going backwards and making backwards progress, if that s what dick is referring to, then that s who they will support. they will support president obama. but i think that because jobs lead the data, millenials will look for another option than what they have. julie: the fact remains that the unemployment numbers are abysmal. but more importantly are all these college students that have all these college loans that they have to pay off aren t even getting into jobs worth getting considering their college degrees and they re actually having to underemployee themselves
