Ganjam Dist admin decides to close down two Covid hospitals 91
Berhampur: The Ganjam district administration has decided to close two Covid hospitals. Both Ashwini group of hospitals and Hitech medical college were informed of the matter.
District Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange has written to the authorities of these hospitals that their contribution to control and treatment of dreaded coronavirus has been wonderful and this will be remembered for long.
The letter said the district administration had discussed about the hospitals which are contributing towards controlling and treatment of coronavirus. The rate of infection has come down in the district and the new Covid infection rate is minimal. That is the reason why a large number of seats in the hospital have fallen vacant, the letter added.
