She spent many days here before she headed out to fire engine 64 in north philadelphia and you can see tonight the black bunting on the firehouse door tells you one thing, people inside are mourning. Flowers mark the spot where philadelphia firefighter joyce craiglewis often started each day on the job. The mood inside engine 64 somber as colleagues, friends and even complete strangers stood in the drive way to pay their respects. I worked with her for the last three years and she loved doing the job. Reporter lieutenant Benny Hutchins was one of about 50 who prayed for lewis family. He tells Eyewitness News he was proud to call her a colleague and friend. She continually always was outstanding and doing everything she could to make sure somebody was safe or property was saved and we miss her. Target at roosevelt boulevard at somerton. Silent alarm tripped when these would be burglars made their way inside the store and that caused the Alarm Company to notify police. When Police Arrived they found a three by 3foot hole sawed through a rear steel door. Police then spotted two suspects inside running through the store. Those two men made their way on the have roof and eventually back down inside of the store. For hours police were searching this target with their k9 units. For more than three hours they searched and then finally after three hours the two suspects were caught, back on the roof in a very tight spot, take a listen. They went inside of a ventilation duct have of which there are several on this large roof where they found the two burglars hiding inside of a very small shaft and the two burglars were literal willly lay on top of one another where they were hiding from the police. Dozens of tornadoes tore through the south and midwest including the first ever recorded in michigan in december. At least eleven were killed last night, more than 60 hurt.
