The two Hobbits will share stories and welcome special guests on their new Lord of the Rings podcast, which debuts May 18.
A Lord of the Rings podcast is on the way, and it will be hosted by Dominic Monaghan and Billy Boyd, who played the Hobbits Merry and Pippin, respectively.
The podcast is called The Friendship Onion, and the first episode will debut on May 18. They will bring banter, stories, and comedy to the podcasting space, each week digging into the latest in pop culture, put fans Lord of the Rings knowledge to the test, reveal exclusive stories from filming and maybe even welcome surprise drop-ins from famous faces, reads a line from the show s description, relayed from Deadline.

It is time to take toxic heat out of politics
Now that Donald Trump has left the building, albeit reluctantly and doing his best to burn it down on the way out, perhaps we can stop talking in terms of the left and right sides of politics and agendas. Instead, how about thinking in terms of values – i.e. what do we value and what values do we want to espouse. Perhaps then we can expose these frauds, grifters and charletons such as Trump for who and what they are, make meaningful changes for the betterment of all, and take some of the toxic heat (and people) out of politics.
