Buying groups to unite in support of Sydney fair, celebrate milestones Posted May 26, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor Independent Jewellers Collective (IJC), Nationwide Jewellers, and Showcase Jewellers have confirmed their attendance at this year’s International Jewellery & Watch Fair (IJWF) as well as a range of member functions to coincide with the event.
All three buying groups are reaching milestones in 2021, with IJC marking its first year of operation, Nationwide celebrating its 30th anniversary, and Showcase toasting to 40 years in the jewellery industry. With 130 exhibitors already booked, the IJWF in Sydney is the major industry event for 2021. We look forward to reconnecting and seeing our members and suppliers at this event

Nationwide Jewellers continues Apprentice Support Scheme for 2021 Posted March 02, 2021 | By Arabella Roden ⢠Editor Australasia’s largest buying group, Nationwide Jewellers, has announced its Apprentice Support Scheme will continue for an 12th year, providing vouchers for both tools and cash to jewellery and watch apprentices in Australia and New Zealand.
Under the scheme, which was first introduced in 2009, apprentices have the choice between a $500 tool voucher – subsidised by Australian Jewellers Supplies in Australia and G A Warburtons in New Zealand – or $400 in cash towards costs associated with their training.
