Flintshire Council expected level 4 announcement and are fully prepared

FLINTSHIRE council is fully prepared for the level 4 restrictions. First Minister Mark Drakeford previously said the virus was spreading quicker than models anticipated. This means that the risk has moved to very high and so the new restrictions will apply to all of Wales. This includes all non-essential retail, including close contact services and all leisure and fitness centres closing at the end of trading on Christmas Eve and all hospitality premises will close from 6pm on Christmas Day. Colin Everett, Chief Executive, Flintshire County Council said the council was expecting the announcement. He added: “We expected the announcement and are fully prepared. All our services will remain open where allowed to do so and full information on our service availability and opening times will be published on our website.
