Cr Capp said the 2021 monarchs personified Melbourneâs response to COVID-19 and how the community came together to overcome the devastating pandemic and lengthy lockdown.
âThe pandemic has taught us how much we rely on each other â whether itâs a cashier, a cleaner or our family doctor. This year we wanted to celebrate our front-line workers because they really are everyday community heroes,â Cr Capp said.
