The family of a schoolgirl who tragically died in the Leven last year say they are encouraged to see more being done to promote water safety.

Appearing to be well-established cultivation, the publication notes, the plants have an estimated street value of £600,000 ($1 million).
Clydebank Post reports forensic crews were on site over the weekend to gather evidence and dispose of the weed, fans, lighting, tubing and other items.
“This is a significant recovery of illegal substances that were bound for our local communities,” Chief Inspector Coleen Wylie told the publication.
“We are committed to tackling organized crime and the production and supply of illegal substances, as we realize the impact and harm this causes for individual and local communities,” Wylie added.
An investigation into who is responsible for or involved in the illegal grow is continuing.

The drugs haul was found at an empty industrial unit in South Douglas Street A CANNABIS farm of more than 1,000 plants with a potential street value of £600,000 has been discovered on a Clydebank industrial estate. The sophisticated operation was found in a warehouse in the town at the weekend after officers on patrol detected the smell of cannabis and heard the sound of fans from inside. It is understood to have been a well established cultivation when police found it. Officers made the discovery in the industrial estate in South Douglas Street at about 5.20am on Saturday, May 1. Detectives and forensic crews spent the weekend gathering evidence and disposing of multiple skips full of equipment, including fans, lights, tubing and other items.
