CARTHAGE, N.Y. (WWNY) - A homeless man, with a history of arrests, is accused of setting fire to his motherâs garage in Carthage Thursday night.
Village police arrested Cole Sheltray and charged him with third-degree arson in connection with the fire. The garage, located at 332 North School Street, was destroyed.
Sheltray was also charged with second-degree disobeying a court order and first-degree reckless endangerment.
According to the police departmentâs arrest report, Sheltray appeared to be under the influence of drugs when he was taken into custody.
