Alternative/post-grunge rockers Obvious Liars are returning to The Wormhole with fellow South Carolina bands Cleansweep and Shemcreeps.
Obvious Liars are inspired by bands like Foo Fighters, H.I.M., Deftones, The Offspring, Smashing Pumpkins, and Taking Back Sunday. The band wears their influences on their sleeves and even have a top-10 album list for each band member posted on their website.
Their sound is actually more diverse than you would think, considering how open they are about their influences, and their rock songs introduce elements of jazz, rap/hip-hop, punk, and even ska.
“We try to do a little bit of a vibe from all of our inspirations,” said Cole Ginn, lead singer for Obvious Liars.
