Free COVID-19 testing at the I-69 Coldwater Welcome Center

Since the first week of May, a COVID-19 testing site is operating from a modular unit installed at the Coldwater I-69 Michigan Welcome Station. The center is open for testing seven days a week from 10 a.m to 4:30 p.m.
It is one of several placed at airports and Welcome Centers in the state to provide free testing for the Coronavirus.
Friday morning, a man from West Michigan received a “negative” result from the 30-minute test done by taking a small swab from just side the nose. Placed on a cardboard strip, a reagent is added. The paper is folded over and you wait for the results.
