Remember last month we told you that Ola, the ride-hailing app service provider, intends to set up a factory in Tamil Nadu to manufacture electric vehicles? It is supposed to be the largest scooter factory in the world. Yeah, we have some news about that one Ola has now announced that it has partnered with Siemens for the upcoming electric vehicle manufacturing facility. Set to be built with an investment of ₹2,400 crores, the facility will serve as the ride-hailing company s global manufacturing hub that will cater to demand not only in India but markets Europe, Latin America, and ANZ as well.
